I like the subtle diagonal of the tree tops and the way they converge with their reflection on the left side. It's extra nice that the light transitions into shadows in that direction also. Excellent composition

A nice simple scene to look at. I'm seeing a slight halo around the treetops, but that shouldn't take much to fix.

John,

I really like the light transitions here; like some natural vignetting going on. I think you may even be able to enhance that a bit with some saturation and/or luminosity painting. But this still works as presented. the only thing I would note is that I notice the haloing as well. I'm also wondering what a slight crop off the left would do - just past the notch?

I would crop to the notch as suggested earlier. I like the diagonal comp in this. The nice warm light on those bright green trees makes me long for summer, even though we're practically having summer here in W. Colo. (only 2.5 inches of snow thus far this winter - plus temps about 8-10 degrees warmer than average - can you believe it?) This is a well portrayed serene scene.

Nice inviting shot John. I like the rich color in the reflection. It leaves me looking forwrd to warmer weather.

A simple and very inviting scene John with nice lighting and reflection. I especially enjoy the quiet feel. I go along with a bit of crop of the left side. Looks like a wonderful place to paddle a canoe!
