Goin' Round the Bend

Nice ice! The small version really suffers badly from compression and size. The larger version allows the details in the ice formations to be clearly seen, which is my favorite part of the image.

Really liking this image Bob. It's hard to determine the scale of the ice, and in this respect I find it fascinating. The detail in the large version is fantastic. Love the soft purple color and the flow of water through the image, as well as the various textures. The deep darks contrasting with the luminous ice is wonderful.

This is fascinating and wonderful and I'm surprised that this hasn't received more comments. I'll echo all of David's comments and also add that the lack of scale adds some deception and intrigue. I keep looking at this trying to figure it all out. I also like the cool tone. Excellent texture and detail. Love this!

A nice abstract, Bob. The textures here are really nice. It's maybe a bit busy. I find my eyes sort of wandering around the frame instead of settling down

Interesting image. (I would have liked to have seen the specs) The ice looks very "crystalline" and oh so clear. As noted, there's no sense of scale, and that adds to the interest. I do find that the rock on the left intrudes a bit. Overall, though, reall neat image with super coloration.
