The Old Dodge

Back in 2003 I found this Dodge truck languishing in a barnyard. It has since been removed, so I was lucky to have been able to make a photograph of it. The original 4x5 color neg was re-scanned and processed in 2011.

If any of you know what model year truck this is, I would love to know!

(Oh, how I wish this film was still available!)

Your thoughts are always appreciated!

Cool old truck, Preston. You might burn down or remove the branches coming down from the top toward the right? My kind of image. I like it.

Thanks, Harley. This version was posted on my web site some time ago and I have since burned down the branches in my master file. I also backed off on the magenta and blue; particularly in the wall.

A lovely photograph of this rustic scene, Preston. The truck appears to be in a rather good condition, given that it has been outside for so long.

Preston, this is superb. The tonality you achieved in the greens of the truck are amazing. Love your composition, and the wall behind the truck looks quite intriguing as well.

I love old cars and trucks too. I see someone mentioned the removal of a few stray branches....but a nice job overall!
