Boardwalk arcade

I seem to find myself drawn to architecture when I'm not shooting nature. This is a shot of the closed front of a boardwalk arcade in Ocean City, NJ. It was shot on a beautiful cloudless summer day. I was drawn to the colors and shapes of this scene.

This was shot several years ago with my simple point & shoot Kodak camera. 28mm at F/5.6 for 1/640 sec. ISO 64.

I really like the perspective in this. I also like there is not any apparent wide angle distortion. I also like warm vs cool vs white design. Nicely done, Carolyn!

The strong colors and repeated patterns of the arcade structure make for a lovely image. I also like how the flags add another splash of color.
