These are some unopened Clematis buds I spotted after a rainshower. Taken several years ago.

Panasonic DMC-FZ28. 86mm at F/4.4 for 125 sec. ISO 400.

Excellent detail in the main bud and droplets. Captures the essence of a fresh spring rain. I also like the echo bud in the BG and the colorful but clean BG.

like the detail and the curve in the bud, the water droplets really draw my eye in. The oof bud and the smooth background is really nice.

Oh, the angluar shap of the bud, as well as the drops really pop in this! The soft background contributes to that effect. The composition, with graceful lines of both stems, and the strong colors make an attractive setting for those details.

Love the rain drop and the slight spiral lines in the bud itself. Very nicely composed and captured
