Excellent image, very graphic- Like very much the smooth transition from shadow to light and your choice of a narrow DOF- A perfect composition as well- Great job, Fabio

Hi D&L :wavey: Well composed with striking color, and light... wish the other anthers were in focus.

I really like the colors and the composition. I too would like to see more of the anthers sharp (at least the second pair on the left).

I like this shallow DOF image. The color contrast of yellow and red works really well. Also like the gradient lighting.

Soft, luscious red looking like the drapes of a lovely skirt. Wish for all the stamens to be sharp, but that's a tough chore.

D&L: I've looked at this a number of times and struggled to come up with a conclusion. I really like the color and I'm OK with the shallow DOF and selective focus. The things that bug me a little are the merge of the sharp anther with the OOF one behind it and the position of the POF relatively close to the edge of the frame. A bit more room on the right and some separation of the anthers would make this stronger for me but it is a solid shot as is. >=))>

For me the sense and vision is an escape towards the vanishing point. In this case, for me the photo is perfect as it is.
Take care.

Love the dynamism of the composition - an original and very effective viewpoint. Would really have liked to see a touch more of the anthers in focus, but this is a fine abstract, D&L.
