Two Leaves

American Goldfinch in January, simple perched pose. We've had a mild winter, the pear tree never did drop all of its leaves..
I like it for the complimentary colors of the perch and "Two Leaves" that accent the bird.
F/10, 1/640th, ISO 640, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 2x ext and overcast, no flash.

Nice look at this goldfinch Howard. Nice soft lighting and really nice detail. The leaves do compliment the bird well.

Very nice, the palette is wonderful with the complimentary colors of the two leaves and the neutral yet varied BG. Maybe just a little tight all around, but very nice as presented.

A nice composition with a good pose, perch and background, the large image shows nice detail, way to go.
