Hi all.

A wider view of the crocuses that I have been posting lately. We have some more that I think are coming on, but despite the warm weather last week, they are still taking their time.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan: I'm SOOOOOOOooooooo jealous of you folks with crocus. This year has really been full of exceptional shots and this is right up with the best of them. Most excellent. >=))>

Another nice addition to your Crocus series, Nathan. These are tough to shoot as they grow almost right out of the ground. I'd consider slightly softening the in focus petal coming at the viewer on the right side of the frame so that all attention would be rivetted to the main Crocus on the center left.

Exceptional, Nathan. A well balanced comp, perfect DOF, nice colors, and a great low perspective. I agree with Bill: right at the top of a bumper crop of crocus images. :toast:

This is really nice, Nathan, and so hard to get IMO. I would blur the petal on the right of the focused bloom since I think it competes (edit:like Ram said!). Exceptional!

Lovely shot with repetition in both the stamen/pistils and the petals. This does a great jog of capturing the allure of these harbingers of spring.

Soft and beautiful. The receding lines from left to right are very effective compositionally, and there's always someting pleasing about the way crocuses reach toward the sky. Excellent capture.
