B.Throated Green Warbler

Took a much needed vacation, spending a couple of weeks on the coast of Maine. Given how sparse my warbler collection is, it was nice to get a number of different warblers while there, including a number of Black-throated Green Warblers. Lighting was poor much of the time, which was a challenge.

Canon 50D, 400 5.6L, 1/60, f 5.6, 430EX @ -1 1/3.

I like the setting here; nice habitat shot. The colors look great, nice pose, and catch light.

Nice detail and natural colors. The flash catchlight could be cloned, not a major issue though. The spruce bough is a very nice setting.

Nice shot of a cool looking bird. The bird looks very sharp and I really like the evergreen setting. If it was my shot I might tone down the bright foilage in the bottom foreground just a little bit.

I like the last post best of the two Terry.
The pine cone and overall setting works a bit better for me..
Perhaps slightly sharper too.
Both are nice of course
