Paradise River in Mt. Rainier National Park.

I'm still working on processing skills. So, this was taken a very bright cloudy day. The work in post-processing was to coax out the richness of the earth-tone colors and to define the flow of the river and all the variations in the current.

D200, 24-70 at 35mm for an equivalent of 52mm with dx sensor; braced on rack wall, cpl. f 22, 1/8, ISO 250.

I really like the detail in and movement of the water in this. My eye is also enjoying the split flow around the rocks. So much to like and look at in this one. Very artistic!

This looks like a very successful image, Catherine. The "earth-tone colors" look spot on and the water looks like milkweed silk. The contrasts between the water and rocks is part of the appeal here.

You did a fine job of processing. The colors look very natural and the blur of the stream works well.

Very nice Catherine! Looks to me like your processing skills were certainly up to par here as this is processed very nicely - can find no nits. Beautiful water action, nice composition, and pretty, earthy coloration.

I like the way that this image shows the power of the water and I can almost hear the sound of the rushing water as it cascades around this bend. You have captured the moment nicely here.

Your processing looks on target to me. I like the textured flow in the water and how it's divided by the rocks in the center. Lovely picture.

The water looks like a painting. I love how it goes around the rocks. Great picture.
