Moving Slow

Drought has slowed the mountain streams as springs dry up beneath the cloudless skies. Sunlight plays on the slow moving currents over multi-colored stones. That's my silver lining for recent weather. Hope it makes you smile, too. Critiques always welcome. Thanks for looking.

This is a lovely abstract with the colored rocks showing through nicely and the brightness from the ripples creating an abstract pattern.

Wonderful abstract qualities Nancy. I especially like the subdued colors.

I think this is my favorite of you stream shots. The light is nice and the rocks and light patterns are easily seen.

Absolutely lovely ripple patterns. Even though I really like looking at this, I get sort of an uneasy feeling, with my eye wandering around the image looking for an "anchor." However, I don't know enough about art to know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, having heard about the merits of visual tension and confusion. Now I wonder if I am tense or confused, but if I am I probably can't blame it on this lovely photograph.
