Kings Cascade

This is a little cascade on the way down to the Kings Creek Falls in Lassen National Park. Water level was already very low for the first week of August. I really liked the curly branch in the water in the lower right of this scene. Thanks for your comments and insights.

Canon 40D, f20, 1/4 sec., iso 100, -0.3 exp bias, 17 mm (17-85 IS lens, IS off) bean bag on a rock, circular polarizer and cloudy.

Nicely done, Ed. What makes this for me is all of the colorful lichens and mosses on the rocks. Good exposure on the water as well. Very clean, crisp image. Just like looking out of a window.

Ed, I like the moss covered rocks and the green vegetation. Exposure looks good. Nice image.

A nice capture Ed, of "real" nature. I like the lower perspective; kind of brings the viewer into the scene. Nicely done.

A nice little waterfall with many interesting facets. Good shutter speed for the detail in the moving water.

Lovely little falls. Yes that curled branch adds a lot of motion and interest.
