Excellent abstract, Catherine ! Love the colours and the way you've got the focus on a short stretch of each petal, producing a very dynamic effect.

The lighting really allows the vibrancy of the colors to come through. An interesting and unique comp combined with your choices of dof and pof make for a beautiful image.

Wow! Now THAT is a colorful dahlia Catherine! I love the colors and the shallow DOF. Focus placement is nice. I wonder about turning the shot 90 degrees CCW?

Lovely colors. I like that you included some green at the bottom, it adds a touch of coolness and contrasts so nicely with the yellow arc. Very nice!
