Fall Reflection

by Patricia Brundage

Gallery: LandscapePosted October 21, 2012457 views14 comments
Taken at Mondo Ponds, Milford, CT using Canon 5D, with 24=105 IS lens. Not quite full color yet. This was my favorite for the day.

Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Very attractive fall color reflection. I like it for the imperfection of the reflection, letting the viewer know there is water there, not a mirror.

Beautiful colorful reflection, and the dead tree is placed perfectly!

Lovely, Patricia. Wonderful color and well composed. I could be wrong, but it appears to me
that the lake/pond line is titling slightly upward from left to right. Nevertheless, this is pretty.

Very nice. The reflected colors are stunning and the tree is the perfect counterpoint. Nice work

Gorgeous reflection, Patricia. Nicely composed with the tree form providing the anchoring subject.

Oh, what a beautiful study in contrasts with that gently curved form in front of such a vivid assortment of colors. The painterly textures of the water are perfectly complimented by the tiny leaves.

This has a very nice Monet look to it Patricia, the soft light and lovely autumn colours are a treat for the eyes.

Nice nice comp Patricia. Love the reflection and colors and the positioning of the main tree in the frame. Beautiful.

I really like this one Patricia. Very painterly with wonderful lines in that tree and a great background of color.
