This was taken in my yard recently. The background is my saskatoon berry bush which is now boosting fall colors.

Nikon D300s, 300 mm lens, HH, 1/200, f4

Hi May. The larger view shows the ample detail and sharpness. These birds are very humbling to photograph, common yet very hard to pin down! You did well. The background color is beautiful.

May, I think you did a fine job with this image. We call them Carolina Chickadees down here in Kentucky. Fidgity little birds that are hard to photograph. Nice bgnd in this image and good detail on the bird. The white patch on the side of the head is always tricky, but yours looks pretty good. Congrats!

Lovely image, May. I love that perch. Background colors are warm and nicely pick up the buff color of the underbelly. Nice and sharp and comp works well.
