Susitna Colors

This is an older one that I'm toying with printing and was hoping for some feedback. There is a beautiful valley along the Little Susitna River on the way to Hatcher Pass in Alaska. It's about 45 minutes North of Anchorage and the sun was trying to poke through a low, heavy overcast day.

Joseph this is a beautiful little valley with the stream leading the eye. I think I would like the image better if cropped from the top just above the tree line to concentrate the view on the valley and stream running down to the clump of trees. Just one idea. . I think it will be a very nice image.

I really like how the stream cuts through the image. Like the overall composition. The colors really pop in the larger version!

Joe,

What a lovely and may I say very strong composition. The classic s-curve works beautifully with the river weaving it's way through the landscape. The colors are natural, although perhaps understated. This is a beautiful landscape. No nits or suggestions.

I get the feeling too that there's a grizzly in there somewhere...

The s-curve flows nicely into the scene. I like the bg also, with the steep slopes with patches of foliage. Nice find!

Nice image here, Joe. The larger version has to be viewed to appreciate this one. As others have pointed out, great comp with the river leading through the frame, nice colors.
