Autumn was not really great this year in switzerland. I've never seen that much rain before in my life. But we had a couple of nice days....this one is from the Loetschental in switzerland.

What a beautiful scene Bill, and presented to perfection.

I agree with John; the DoF POV and composition gives a strong 3D effect; feels like one is there. The polarizer is very effective and not over-done. The reflection is spectacular!

Well crafted and well composed image. So many different planes, and all a pleasure to view.

Great shot Bill! Love the bright colours, composition and depth of the scene. I kind of wish the fg was either more snowy or no snow at all just to clean things up, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall great shot!

Bill,

Wonderful mountain landscape image, capturing that great transition of seasons here. Agree with others with the great depth or even 3D effect here; excellent near/far comp. That reflection, the snow, pines, autumn colors AND the great snow covered moutains and brillian blue sky.... make me ask, did you step up to the edge and capture this without the grass? Don't get me wrong, I love this scene as presented - I just see so many ops here. I think one could be very happy and content being there and capturing images.

Small nit - for some reason, this seems a bit cruchy to me - or said differently, over sharpened?

Optionally, I think a crop of about half the foreground tuft of grass could work as a comp too. No matter, this is wonderful as presented too.

Beautiful scene and image Bill. Love the complex composition - easy for me to get lost in this one.
