This is the first real freeze from 2 yrs. ago. It snowed right after dropping over 40 degrees in one afternoon. Hence, the leaves were still green!

I like it, but I think this needs a crop - from the bottom to eliminate the fence(?) and and from the right to get rid of that white upper right corner. But then it will look great!!

Wow, that snow is really coming down! You captured it well Lucy. The repost is a nice improvement and as Dietrich mentioned it can now stay in this gallery.

Lucy,

Terrific image of the falling snow, and to catch it with the awesome looking tree branches and the greenery just makes for a great image.

The crop works much better and if it were mine I might crop even more. I'm sorry though, but I don't think cropping out the hand of man now qualifies this for the Landscape Gallery. The posted image belongs in Man & Nature gallery because of the fence. I hope you understand, but if posting a cropped or say a cloned image as a repost is all one needs to do to qualify as a Landscape image, then that sets a precedent for others to follow. Hope that makes sense. I really like the image, but will go ahead and move this over. Please feel free to contact me or any of the mods if you have any questions.

Thanks Lucy!

Lon

The crop works much better for me Lucy. This has some nice abstract qualities.
