Face in the Ice
by Richard Teller
I want out hiking this morning at Buffalo Creek Wildlife management area. There are several big washes where run off has carved some deep areas. I hiked one of them and there was some running water in it from the little bit of snow we have had. I started looking at the ice around the edges and started photographing some of the designs. I almost walked away from this one, but when I started to get up this face just popped out at me. I wish it was a happy face, but it has a frown. All comments and critiques are appreciated.

Nice find. Do you think it would have been better if you'd had more DOF? So all the ice was in focus? Might be tough to do.... To me, this actually showed up best in the thumbnail.
