Synchronized geese

Guess I will get our new theme started. . . I found these Canada geese resting in a stream near my house. I liked the way their poses seemed to echo each other. I also liked the reflections of the trees and sky in the water.

Panasonic DMZ-FZ28. 86mm at F/8 for 1/250 sec. ISO 100. Handheld, natural lighting.

Nice with both heads tucked in the same way, great comp for this and love the colours. All makes for a great balance.

All the best Carolyn, I'll dig a couple out for this this one.

The pose of the two geese is really nice and the reflections set them off nicely. It's interesting that both birds have an eye on you, but haven't budged from their resting position.

Sure, the geese meet the requirement of the challenge, but the real magic of this shot lies in the reflections and color.
