Color Splash

Folks,

This one is from the butterfly garden, and havent got an idea on the ID. There were quite a few of these small ants on them. Cropped to vertical, was interested in the color splash, and the abstract feel.

C&C welcome

Thanks NPN for your support

Balan: A color junkie's delight! I rarely like ants as party crashers and I do wish these were not there but the color carries the day nonetheless. Nice comp and capture.>=))>

I love the swirls of color here! I do wish the top ant was sharper though.

This is totally awesome for color and abstraction, Balan! It's bold and graphic, and I love the ants going in opposite directions. My only tiny nit is to fill the ulc and lrc. Zowie, what a shot!!

A composition perfectly balanced with the two little, but heavy, visual weights in the opposite corners. Excellent also the geometries both of the shapes and the colors.
Take care.

Excellent abstract! The colors and line flow so nicely. It would be interesting to see an antless version, but I like how they provide a size reference and brief focal points here.
