Too Dark?

I'm curious if this one is too dark for your taste? I found that when I did the bw conversion I had to really darken the green channel to let the white flowers and trees stand out. Detail is all there... just curious what people think of the overall mood here... too dark?

Not too dark for me--but i like dark images. The mood is a bit spooky--not sure that is what you wanted. Interesting shot!

Not too dark by any means. I can make out the details from edge to edge. I like this quite a bit.

I could see lightening it up a little Wayne, but I actually like it as presented. It is a bit spooky as Stan stated, but that's not a bad thing!

Thanks for the feedback guys! Ya, I was actually going for the spooky mood since that was what I remember... just didn't know if I pushed it too far to the dark side! It was actually getting dark and the last light of the day was illuminating these trees from the opening in the forest created by the river.

The white flowers against the ark forest floor works well Wayne. Not too dark for me.

Low key b/w images definitely have their place in the world, IMO. Works for me.
