Fantastic shot! Love the flow of the water and the light on it. Nice looking sunstar, too, which avoids being cliche in depicted the light here. Nicely done, imo.

Well that's fun. And amazing for a single exposure. Nice

Aaron, without the shadow retrieval possible in Lightroom, I would have struggled for hours with several exposures, trying to make an HDR not look like HDR.

The back lighting gives this image a very interesting effect. I think your choice of shutter speeds is right on. You handled the exposure very well. Great image.

Wow, beautiful! Extremely dynamic composition thanks to the flowing water captured with a perfect shutter speed (1/8 and 1/15 works always wonders with fast flowing streams). And the light, boy, that light is delightful!

I also like this Daniel. It is pretty amazing to me that you were able to get that sun star at 1/8 sec. and not blow it out. I also always seem to have trouble with lens flare on these kinds of shots. The water is also very nice.

Wow! What a POV. I wish you had spoken a bit on how you captured it, and especially on some of the post processing involved. A "before" image would be a great benefit, allowing us to see just how much you actually had to battle in order to end up here. The lighting is superb, and your crafting has made it all work.

Amazing image, Daniel. I love your POV along with the backlighting and that sunstar is the icing on the cake.

Great job with this Daniel! :toast: :toast: :toast:

No need but I might consider cooling it a bit in terms of color balance.

Very nice image Daniel. I really like the bright and fresh feel in this one. It really captures the feeling of a warm spring day in the Gorge. Well done!

Daniel, This is really nice! I especially like the dramatic view and the beautiful light. The sun star worked out great and your 1/8 sec exposure worked wonderfully. I'm enjoying this very much! :toast:
