Took this a few years ago right after a rain shower. Liked how the rain drops looked against the red.

Excellent image. A wee bit tight maybe. I like the sharpness and the star-shaped highlights. I like the transition into shadow. Very nice, the way the light shines through the petal.

Several of the drops are acting as little magnifying lenses. Nice range of red-pink, and the black background really makes it all pop.

Very nice against the black background and with the shadows on the left. My only nitpick ... my mind's eye is telling me that the image should be flipped vertically. It just doesn't look quite right to me with the flower pointed down. But what do I know about such things? I'm a landscape photographer.

Unique comp with the main petal centered and the rest of the bud in shadow. . . and angled downward. I like how the bright light on the front petal creates a nice subdued glow to the rest of the flower beneath it. The flower is such a beautiful color which the raindrops help accent. Pretty cool how some of the highlights are little stars!

Wow, beautifully done John. Like the lighting very much, with the dark background. A different and unique perspective for a flower and the raindrops add a lot of interest. Not so sure about the highlights, but that's more of a personal thing.

Great look. I like the star highlights, all of the gradations of red in the petal, and the depth added by the shadowed area.
