Just stunning Miro - I love the minimalist possibilities that snow provides and you've done that wonderfully :toast:

Very simple but elegant scene! I like your off-center comp of that intricately branched tree. The snow dusting the branches and in the background really helps highlight all that texture. My one thought would be to clone out the dark areas to the right of the bottom of the trunk. To me, it would feel more "clean" and appropriate for a minimalist image. Great find, Miro.

Karen & Carolyn, many thanks for your nice comments :wavey: I've removed the dark area. Revised photo is attached here.

I like the repost better, Miro. I think I might even clone out more of the dark area so the snow-covered side of the trunk seamlessly blends into the background snow. . .but these are just my minor suggestions. It is a great shot as is too!

An interesting high key photo, Miro. I'm curious as to why you composed the tree on the right side. Since it leans to the right It seams that it might work better on the left. I prefer the first version with the little piece of ground. It tends to both anchor and balance the tree.

Excellent, artistic image, Miro. Very beautiful, stark image. I know from another image you posted that there was a walk and people on the right, so the tree, by itself, could not be composed on the left, but I see Gary's point about the tree leaning out of the frame. Maybe you could try "straightening" the image so the tree is not leaning out of the frame. Just a thought.
