I noticed these leaves frozen in the lake where I was trying for flight shots of water fowl. They seemed to me to indicate fall is over winter is here.

Good seasonal transition photo, John. I see bird (turkey?) tracks in the ice! If those were more noticeable, the placement of the leaves would work very well. In processing, it might have been helpful to emphasize these tracks with some selective burning and also give the ice more of a "cold" look by adding a bit more blue. "Cool" find, John.

I've often seen frozen leaves in a stream or pond and thought they would make a good composition for seasonal change. Thanks for doing this John. Like that they're off-center, and the tracks certainly add interest.
