I have no doubt that this kind of image is difficult to process. The composition is becoming quite a classic in itself, and for good reasons. You've done an admirable job of highlighting the new flowers. My only nit is that I think the image is too dark, overall. I mean, it is bright, direct sunlight skimming the land. I don't think you'd lose any detail by increasing the overall brightness a bit.

Pretty scene and a nice find for this early Daniel. I agree the scene seems a bit flat, all midtones maybe, Maybe a bit brighter. But very nice colors in the flowers.

Nice sunstar and flowers here Daniel. I like the idea, but it seems like the flare from the sun is stealing all of the contrast and the image feels a bit washed out and dull. I would try brightening it and increasing the contrast, especially in the midtones. It's great to see that spring is on the way for the PNW!

I agree, this was too dark and needed some punch.

Absolutely beautiful Daniel. The flowers have a wonderful glow about them. Very minor, but I might clone the uppermost cloud that's cut off on the upper left corner.

I had the same feelings as most of the others on brightness and contrast of the foreground in your first post but your repost is great!

This is a great looking scene, Daniel. I think you really brought it alive in the repost! Just what it needed I think.
