Nightcliff Jetty Sunset

This was my first image from our last tour through the Territory, South Australia and Victoria. I'm not finished processing all images yet. I will post some of my favorites from that trip in the next couple of months.This image makes the start. This one was taken on the first night while we were staying in Darwin before we left for the outback. Nighcliff Jetty is a popular place among locals and this are is also very popular among local photographer as well. I thought this might be a good start for my photography journey through the Territory.

Beautiful image that "creates an atmosphere." I like the position and the color of the sky.

You've caught some lovely color in the sky and good reflections in the waves. I find myself wishing for some separation between the pier and the horizon, but I suspect that getting yourself 2 - 3 meters higher was not an option.
