Really cool. I'm gonna have to find me some hostas. Nice simple shot, but the lines, tones, shadows are great. The added salamander just adds to the 'nature interest' for lack of better wording. Really, really nice. Excellent.
Only changes I might make would be to crop little off left and bottom. Would still keep him off center but just a little closer perspective. Wish there was a larger size to see BIG also.

What a great hideout this salamander has found for himself! I could do with a little crop from the bottom for comp. , but it is beautiful as it is.

Cool find and very well executed. The repeating shapes make a great foundation and the salamander is a jewel.

Very nice field of leaves that works even without the critter. Well done.
