Halloween Pennant on some kind of plant they grow along the edges of side walks. I recently realized that due to the heavy pesticides the garden folks spray in the gardens, most butterflies and dragonflies avoid them completely. The garden folks were asking me if they were killing these colorful creatures when they sprayed early in the morning  <-- What were you thinking ?

Absolutely fabulous, Ram. One of the finest DF images I've seen posted here or anywhere. Incredible detail, vivid colors, perfect pose, outstanding bg, etc. :toast: :jump:

This is lovely, Ram, with the washes of soft color behind the df and the whole body sharp.

Extraordinary detail, Ram, and a beautiful balance of soft and sharp elements. Lovely bg too - and the pose of the dragonfly is so characterful. A marvellous image !!

Thanks everyone. Albert --> The lens used was AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor. Great working distance, ideal for insects.
