Reflection at Jericho Lake, Jericho Mountain State Park, Berlin, NH

Gorgeous color and only my husband Joe and I were there except for the caretaker of the park who told us some good places for pictures. The reds were outstanding this year in the White Mountains of NH. Taken on 9/29/14. Inspired by an image taken by Jim Salge Yankee Magazine Foliage Blog

Canon 5DM3
Canon 24-70mm at 70mm
ISO100 1/15sec f/16
Polarizer + 0.45 Hard Edge ND Graduated filter

Thanks for having a look.

WOW, really beautiful Eva. Only thing I'd change is clone out the four tiny things in the water. Makes me wish I could jump on a plane and visit New England before the peak color fades.

The foliage in this Eva is gorgeous and you have captured it perfectly. Excellent conditions for taking photographs. I too would clone out the leaves in the foreground.

Gary.

Beautiful reflection and color. I might create a selective color layer and add some black to the cyan and blue channels to darken the sky and reflection and get a bit more pop?

I might suggest cropping to a pano'. My advice isn't worth much but that was my initial thought before I even opened up the image.

Lovely image, and a gorgeous place, Eva. I like the composition as-is. I agree with Harley's suggestion.

Lovely image. The sky and reflection look washed out however; I would tweak the contrast in these areas.

Love the symmetry and the dampened sine wave structure in the composition Eva. Beautiful color (I particularly like the reds - I never see them here) as well. Gorgeous...

I like both images but think I prefer the original. The muted sky works for me.
