Here's one from last spring near the Texas coast. I managed to catch this cottontail on the full run.

Ha! Great capture, Nate! These guys (or more specifically, the cousins we have to this species here in Alberta) almost always best me. We have a lot of snowshoe hares around but man alive they rank toward the top of most impossible to photograph for me. I like the motion implied in this capture but it makes me think a much slower SS with a pan effect might have been epic. Wonderful sharpness and detail here though and the pose is awesome.

Hello Nate

Well Done! I know it is not easy to catch these fast little guys on-the-run at their apex of movement. Great separation from the background, Sharp, well defined, Stop-Action !

Cheers

Not an easy subject, you managed to capture so well !
Did you get any frame with out-stretched legs?

Whoa  This is super cool Nate. What a great running pose you captured here with the back legs over lapping the front legs. The rabbit is very sharp and I like the background motion.

Sweet One!!!

You have caught this spot on Nate, really sharp on what looks like a fast moving subject.

Really great capture with the legs like that and you kept the eye sharp too. I like the tones.
