The weaver ant nest was at about 7 feet from the ground, and I managed to get some stability.

This is really great and interesting, Balan! At first I thought it was leafs in ice, but then I looked closely and read your description. This is a really good capture of a really cool phenomenon, nice job!

I am not familiar with "weaver" ants, Balan. The design in your image is amazing, so I did a google search to get a better idea of what an entire nest looks like. I really like the "wall" they bulit and your captured here.

Not seen one of this befodre so thanks for posting. These ants must be really good builders, looks pretty solid and weather proof. I am guessing that they use their spit to glue the leaves together.

This is a great, semi-abstract view of this nest, Balan. The details in both the leaves and the binding material are wonderful and the colors warmly inviting.

I like this detailed semi abstract Balan, my hat's off to you for going the extra mile in elevation
Great textures, patterns, & colors, this is something I'd not seen before.. I found myself searching for an ants shilouette, somewhere behind one of those semi-transparent white curtains
Well done!
