Daniel, I like what you are doing with the helicon focus software for landscapes. The large image is an adventure to explore. You are approaching excatly what the eye sees. Very nice.

My first thought with the small version was that the foreground plant was too big, but when looking at the large version I changed my mind. It is a perfectly natural view, as Gary said. The image has a strong green color cast, but it works for this image I must say! Creates a very calming atmosphere for me.

The ability to cleanly capture foreground with focus stacking is a plus. Mastery of the tech-required for this is becoming easier as software becomes more and more available and easy to use. Nice scene...a bit green on my screen. Lovely. Always enjoy your forest and river scenes.

I have looked at this image a couple of times now.....when I first saw it, I thought it lacks a bit of contrast and that it looks kind of flat. I still think it you could give a tad more contrast to it....but maybe that's just me. It also seems to have a green cast......I love the idea of the comp and the snow covered mountain top is a nice contrast to the scene.

Soft green means calm and relaxing it's the mood that I feel in this picture due maybe to the soft cast of green. I like the composition and the focus from the front to the back. Very nice, I like it.

In the thumbnail the vertical composition did not work well, I thought, but in the large image it really comes through. I guess that the vertical elements (trees and foliage) are better seen in the large one. In any event, I really like the large image!

Excellent job with the focus stack, one of the best I have seen. I do think the image is a bit flat and could a bit more color for my taste.

Excellent stack and your composition of this pretty scene is beautiful. I particularly like the way the white flowers balance the snowy mountain. Some tiny curves adjustments or gentle use of clarity (or one of those plug-ins that perform similar adjustments) might give this a bit of a visual kick, but I would hesitate to boost it too much because this is such a peaceful, natural scene as presented.

Not "mainstream" colours (soft tints, calm lighting here) and this is is already good.
I like also the composition and the general effect. Well done, good taste.
