Nicely done Mario!  I like the reflection in the water and my only "nit" would be that it would be nice to see a wider angle shot showing the full reflection if the water hole was big enough to offer that.  The water looks still enough to have produced a nice reflection accentuated by the orange color from the setting sun.  Thanks for sharing!

Hi Mario,

I like the warm lighting and the oxpecker near the eye of the rhino.  The wrinkles and textures of the skin and along with the notches in the ear suggest that this animal is experienced in handling whatever comes its way. The rhino has a nice glow to it due to the lighting and the contrasting oranges of the water hole..................................Jim

HI Mario,

My gut reaction was "Nice but I'd like to see it less closely cropped", but then I saw the oxpecker and changed my mind - I like it just as posted! I very much like the lighting (the back of the rhino is excellent) and contrast in this image. My only TINY nit is I wonder if the foreground water is just a pinch oversaturated?

Thanks for sharing this one - quite the pleasure to look at...

Brad

I really like the warm lighting captured here.  The golden water reflection and subtle lighting on the rhino really enhance this fine image.

Hello Mario

Beautiful Capture !!   Showing off the relationship with the Bird ( Oxpecker ?) . I suspect the bird cleans him from insectcs and flies etc, So a great paring. The Rhino is a Mud hen , standing in the rich wet mud ! The ears seem to have been subjected to abuse with their ragged edges?   This is probably a mature, seasoned guy, but looking very good condition and really enjoy those skin folds with excellent detail!
