Columbia Gorge. More experimentation with waterfall shutter speeds, 1/45th here- shorter than a smear, longer than instant.

Daniel, I like how your ss lets you see the falling curtains of water. The swaths of gold at the top and green near the bottom are fine additions

I like the SS here. It does alow the sheets of water to appear very natural. The colors are intense, particuarly the golds. I can imagine this falls is really thumping at certain times of the year.

I think you nailed the shutter speed on this: The cascade looks great. On my monitor, the yellow patches of lichen draw my eye due to their saturation. the lower greens look fine. I like clouds at the the top. Overall, this works for me.

My eye is drawn to the yellows but I do believe one needs to look at the big picture. I like the ss.

Great colors and detail in this. I assume it is a vertical stitch (or tilt/shift) with a lower exposed image for the sky? I see a bit of halo around the trees at the top...might be worth taking a look at that or doing a lighter touch on the sky. That said, I like this as is. Latourell is hard to shoot and this is one of the best images I've seen of it. I love the detail in the columnar basalt visible in the large version. Wonderful to look at.
