I love this composition, Jim. The three lines created by the needles and the stem on the aspen leaf give this a fine sense of flow and balance. The leaf is wonderful, and I love the frost. Well done!

Your series of images from Zion are all very nice.

As with the others in the series, nice color, texture and comp.  With this one the frost has started to melt and sections of the leaf seem moist as the crystalline shapes appear less defined.  Good series.

Very nice series, Jim.  Love the framing with the needles arching into the image.  I'd love to join you in Zion for an afternoon one of these days.

Jim,

NO! not the last one! cheeky  Well, it's been a fabulous series.  Many here no doubt with great envy for the jackpot of beauties you were able to capture.  This is just a fine and fitting image to end the series.

I just love the addition of the frosted needles; a great complement to the intimate scene; an elegant addition making this more than just a frosted leaf.  Ok, the bg in all this series was fascinating enough.  Anyway, Love what you've created here.  No nits or suggestions.

Excellent again, Jim. The added needles add interest, almost like this image is a symbol or hidden message. Hard to pick a favorite in the series.

You saved the best for last, Jim. I love the details and textures along with those graceful curved lines of the pine needles. This was a wonderful series.

Such a delicate and transient composition of a quiet moment in time, Jim.  Absolutely love the structures in the sand and that wonderful frost along with the warm color.  Outstanding.
