I've been silent from NPN whilst I've been in Patagonia, here's a shot of the Fitz Roy and Torre range from just outside the town of El Chalten. I had expected to spend a year in this area, however, I broke my D810 in a fall and had to return to collect a new one. I return in 2016 to shoot the fall and winter.
As usual I appreciate constructive criticism.

I think I would slightly burn the brightest parts in the sky, but otherwise I prefer this version over the previous one. I like the amount of detail in the land that is visible in this version.

Hi Andrew, magnificent! I love the reflection in the water in the foreground ... I agree with Roel's comments about the sky - not sure if a blend of two RAW developments (one with lower exposure level) would help to pull back some colour closer to the horizon. You seem to have really nailed the exposure in terms of foreground / mountain details.  Must be an exceptional place to be!
Cheers, Mark

Glorious Landscape from Patagonia Andrew; bold, dramatic and beautiful.

The only small nit and suggestion I have is along the lines of the first comments.  To me, it looks like a split ND grad was used as the land gradually gets darker until you hit the peaks and sky.  I think a little more balance of exposure bottom to top, including the brightest in the sky, could make this even better.

This is looking pretty spectacular though.  What a place!

Andrew,
Stunning image. Excellent comp with exceptional lighting. I agree with the comments to try and tone down the bright areas of the sky. I also might be tempted to reduce the contrast slightly.

Very difficult light but toning down the highlights here in the sky and on the water will be rewarding.  A beautiful image with excellent comp.

Sweet capture for sure! I certainly can appreciate the winding river leading one's eye to the mountains. The only minor suggestion would be darkening the reflection in the water a tad. Normally, reflections are somewhat darker. That said, you were there, and maybe with the angle of the light, the reflection was indeed quite bright.

Cool and very dramatic image. I would echo Ken's thoughts on the reflection. Bummer about the camera, though.

Very dramatic Andrew.  I like the reflected light on the twisting river particularly.  Persoanlly I think I prefer the image with the blue sky above the colourful clouds cropped off, though I can see that the blue sky would give you a clue as to why the mountains are so blue.
