I liked the color version of this, but after working it up in B&W, I liked it more. This was taken from the bridge over Yosemite Creek, just below Yosemite Falls.

Beautiful little stream image. The B&W works great, too. No nits from me. I like it a lot.

Beautiful B&W work, Preston. The composition looks spot on, a nice frame enclosing the water from all sides. The texture of that granite is remarkably beautiful. You could crop just a tad off the bottom but I don't think anyone would notice the difference really. Nice work.

Hi Prestoncrying  I can almost  hear  the  flow  of water. frownblushfrown the  B&W  version  certainly  presents more drama  to  the  water  motion. ... excellent work..

Preston, I apologize for missing this image.  My computer time has been very limited in the past week or so.  I love this.  The tones and textures make for a beautiful intimate b/w.  Nicely done.

Preston,

Terribly sorry for not commenting sooner - been crazy busy.

This looks awesome!  Your processing is top notch with this one, I have no nits at all.  To me, this could almost define what a silver gelatin print should look like!

I really like the composition too with the rocks nicely balanced with the flowing water.

This is excellent!

I like the placement of the three rocks, that looks very dynamic to me, which fits this type of photo very well. Shutter speed is also spot on, with the right balance between dynamic and detail.
