Fox Fight

This one is from Island Beach State Park in New Jersey. Foxes there are pretty tame because some people feed them. There seem to be a lot of them this year. Those two didn't get along.

Canon 5D3, EF 70-200 mm F/2.8 II @ 142 mm
1/1000s, F/4, ISO 100, Cropped to 90% of original.

Cheers,

Hisham.

Quite the action catch, Hisham.  I think they're playing "my mouth is bigger than your is".  Suppose the one with the biggest mouth wins?  cool  It would be nice to not have so much grass in front of them, but the action is great and their heads are nicely clear.

Fantastic action!  We have a similar beach park that has fox readily fed by people.  I love the matching gaped mouths and those claws on the one fox.  Nice habitat as well

Wow! Intense action and they don't seem to care much for each other. Great detail and coloration Hisham.

Hisham: you've captured a great moment. The action and the near mirror image of the animals is unique and appealing. Richard

Wow, talk about a balanced image - not easy with animals.  You certainly  caught the peak moment.  I don't think the grass is at all distracting.

Great timing and wonderful point of view make this a keeper, although it is too bad about all the intervening grasses.

Hello Hisham,...Nice interaction here, the open mouths so close give the feeling of a playful encounter !

What an excellent opportunity and a great capture of the event, Hisham! Those claws on the one are as impressive as it's sharp teeth!
