Oriole and feeder

I was asked to try and get photos of orioles, both Baltimore and Orchard, using the new style feeder at the Sugar Grove Nature Center. Both species of orioles were in the area, but would not come to the feeder at the same time. The feeder was placed where the BG was considerably darker than the feeder itself.

1 commentsI would wait for a bright, but overcast day to tame down the contrasty shadows and highlights in the shot. The pose is great and he looks like he's enjoying the grape jelly................................Jim
