Nice lineup of these guys. I guess the one on the right didn't get the memo to look to his right. (smile) I did feel that the color balance was off a bit. Perhaps it was due to the red dirt. I hope you don't mind I made a slight adjustment in the color balance. Tell me what you think.

Jerry,
You are totally correct the reds are too strong.
Thanks for the re-post.devil

Ken: nice group shot. Think I recognize the one in the middle from a prior visit. enlightened I do remember being told that unless the colony was visited daily, they would soon revert to the wild state. Richard

Fine line up.  I think the techs are spot on, but although this is clearly early or late low angle lighting, I feel it is somewhat over-warm.  The re-work by Jerry feels a little strong...so I suggest testing for something in between!

Ken,

For me the "contrasting" pose of the one on the right makes the shot...and made me smile. Hard to comment too much on the colour without having been there, but the initial post did feel on the overly "punchy" and warm side to me. I am left wishing for a little more separation of the subjects from the background and thinking with the three appearing to be equidistant from you (and very close to the being on the same focal plane), that opening up the aperture more (to f5 or so) might have been worth experimenting with.

Cheers...

Brad

There's always a misfit/jokester.  I'm sure enjoying the pose and the setting.  I agree with the idea that somewhere in between seems right for the colors.  My other thought is to tone down the overall brightness just a touch, but that's more of a personal preference, than a critique.

Thanks for the further comments, I agree that "somewhere in between" would be better
