This is a small cascade on Bridalveil Creek in Yosemite last weekend. It was fun hanging out with Preston, Lon and Kyle.

Nice intimate landscape. I especially like the addition of the pale rock in the lower left because it blends with the white water but it also provides some contrasting detail. Very tranquil image.

This looks real nice, Mr. H.. I agree with Ana's note about the light-toned rock, and I will add that it is a nice anchor for the lower part of the image. I like the composition a lot--that 200 really reached right in there. The color and detail look great to my eye..

Harley, I sure am enjoying the large version of this. I too agree that the light colored rock is a very nice addition to this intimate view of this small falls. This comp works beautifully for me and the reddish brown rock contrast very nice with the water. Nice work on this!

Yes, indeed a lovely little step falls, Harley. You're ss choice works very well at smoothing the flow while still providing a sense of movement. I also like how you've angled the step across the frame. As Ana points out, there is a fine tranquility to this view.

Harley,
I'm really enjoying this one Harley. A wonderful, intimate view of this mini cascade. I love the cascade and also the diagonal of this capture. Great job isolating and composing this one.
No nits really, but am wishing for a little more texture in the white water LR, but that's very minor - in fact the the light colored granite contrasting with the red rock above more than makes up for it.

Nice intimate image Mr Harley. Glad you had a good time and brought home some good stuff. I like the close up nature of this little falls. The color and detail are perfect. I could also see this with a bit more off the top, but I do like the flow of the water as it recedes to the top left. Nice work as always.
