It was a wonderful surprise for me to find this scene rambling after the first snowfall in Forest Quarter, a region in the northwest of Lower Austria.
I appreciate your comments and critique.

Nicely-captured scene! I might brighten the leaves a bit.

This is wonderfully moody, Silvia. The composition works very well. I agree that the tonality of the yellow leaves could be pulled up a bit; their saturation is spot-on. The soft light and small amount of snow really make this.

Lovely understated image. The tones and detail are great. I like the contrast between the two vertical trees with the straight trunk providing a nice frame for the graceful branches of the other tree. I especially like the top left quarter of the image; that 'window' into the snowy evergreens is very intriguing and it contrasts nicely with the yellow foreground tree. At the same time the snow unifies everything. It might be interesting to play with a bit of selective brightening just to balance it out the different parts of the frame, but regardless it is a sweet image.

You have condensed this scene into some very nice elements. Well balanced in comp. and the yellows pop against the muted background. Lots of great details throughout. Wonderful as is for me.

Silvia, This is Wonderful!! I like this composition very much and absolutely love the mood this has. That snow added a beautiful touch with the autumn colors and you captured it perfectly for my taste. Nick

Silvia, you've done a fine job of emphasizing the snowy yellow leaves with your comp. The heavier snow on the upper branches adds very well to the story of an early snow.

Lovely Sylvia. The drooping branches with the snow dust is a great combo. I too would brighten the leaves a bit.

Silvia,
This is a beautiful image. It's so very quiet and peaceful; serene. I love this.
The only suggestion I have would be a crop off the bottom - the snow-dusted stuff at the bottom. The bottom is not a distraction per se, but I think eliminating it would further enhance the quiet beauty of this scene.

Very sweet wintery scene. I would second Lon's crop suggestion, but minor stuff. Looks real nice!! Great mood to the image.
