This is one  of the Orb spiders we found in Hawaii. Lots of different colours on the many we found.
It's quite small-about the size of a lentil.

I like the central composition and the BG.
This is the first time I see this kind of spiders.

Excellent, Sandy. I like the centered comp and the way it emhances the design of the web. Excellent detail in the spider and a nice clean bg.

What color was his backside?  I always know it's fall, when these girls show up!  We have white, florescent yellow, bright orange and red ones.  But, ours have more florescent yellow dots on the underside.

Great shot, especially with the red eyes staring right at us!

Very well framed, Sandy.  Nice to see the "working side" of this one.  Good techs to get the critter and web in focus.  I have many orb weavers in my area, but none so colorful.

A great set of colors, Sandy, I like the centered view with the web lines leading in.  The bright green background contrasts well with the red spines.  I do wish to spines were sharper.

Wow, that's a beauty, Sandy.  The composition, excellent blurred background and the sharp web all make this appealing.

This is new for me. Amazing shape, colors and small size. Great composition and background.
