Here's another image from Iceland, although it's not one that you'd expect from the diamond beach in Jokulsarlon. On this evening, winds at about 30 mph were blowing and it was a real struggle to look at things when black sand and other particles were being hurled at your face. However, what this hostile condition created was amazing swells in the coast and water was spraying everywhere. On top of that, The setting sun lit up the water spray beautifully, and that "fog" you see there is actually water, dust and a bunch of other stuff lifted by the wind. Really unique conditions that I've not seen since.

Appreciate any thoughts you have on this

Unique indeed!  Amazing light on those swells. I think this is terrific as is. Not sure if you were able to experiment with slower shutter speeds for more abstraction, or tighter views. This shows the conditions wind the best though.

Very cool stormy sea! Great light and a very unusual take on the seas. Very well seen and executed.

Sairam,

Awesome imagery of the sea; in it's actions, anger and powerful presence.  Not sure I see or feel the poetry as that's not the impression I have (although nothing says poetry can't be angry and powerful!) and also, titles aren't always all that important. I can see though how you might have come up with the title.  Regardless, this is wonderful and the mist above the see transitioning to the complimentary sky and clouds really completes and adds to the overall impression.  I really like the steely, slightly blue tones throughout.  Excellent image.

I see the poetry and feel the music. You took advantage of some wild conditions and have captured a beautiful image. Really like the richness on blue gray colors in the chop. Who wrote the line describing great breaking waves as "wild white maned horses galloping toward the shore"? Your image does it justice

This is a lovely strong image Sairam. The only thing is the slight tilt which I'm sure is an illusion.
