Linnet (Male)
One at my newly designed pool. The hot weather  has meant frequent filling up- 4 five gallon drums at a time.
D7100
This is with the camera on the one third crop setting. Never used it before and it seems quite useful- adds a bit of tele on the 300mm.
1000 ISO  350th sec @f9
About full frame.
Little done  besides slight adj in levels.
Cheers
Have a look at  the biggie.

I really like the composition on this one John.  Really good focus on the foreground and the bird with wonderful out of focus background to make the bird pop.  A very nice image.

Beautiful rendition of the colors, John.  I particularly like the hint of rose on the neck.

I'm glad mine is close enough to our well house to run some 1/4 inch (6 mm) drip irrigation tubing.

Mine is 160 metres from the nearest tap./Expensive hose pipe I think!

Hi John
Nice job in separating the Linnet for it's background.
