Just a Kiss

These Cormorants were enjoying each other's company and seemed to be ignoring us.  I loved this pose, because it appears almost as if they are about to kiss!  Taken with Canon Mark II, Canon 100-400 mm L lens at 400 mm, handheld. Settings are f9.5, 1/250, ISO 500.  Cropped to around 71%.  Edited lightly with Lightroom and Nik.  Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Cute, Shirley.  Excellent dof to get both birds sharp.  I'd be inclined to remove some of the bottom which would get them larger in the frame.

Cute.  Nice timing.  Agree with Dennis about cropping to emphasize the birds more.

Thank you, you all are the greatest!  I kind of felt the same way with the crop, but was trying not to crop down too small on the shot.  We were limited on how close we could get (we were on a pier).

This is darling Shirley. Great timing to cath the kiss here. I really love the head on view of the bird in the back. Crop not necessary, but does provide more emphasis on the birds.
