While visiting our son and his family in Scottsdale a couple of years ago we popped into the Butterfly Wonderland. They really had a wide variety of specimens and I liked how this little blue guy (ID appreciated) hopped onto the back of the Rice Paper. All comments welcome. >=))>

Hi Bill,

There's always a camera hog that tries to photobomb a scene--even in the insect world (LOL). Excellent color and DOF enabled you to snag these two butterflies optimally. Well done........................Jim

Bill, this is quite a catch, with the two bf both nicely sharp. I think the smaller one is a female Mexican Bluewing (Mycelia ethusa), which may occasionally be seen along the Rio Grande in Texas. A view that's good for a smile.

What a close up shot of these beautiful butterflies, Bill. And 2 for the price of 1, you just can't beat that. Great detail in both. You nailed it.

Great shot Bill. Nice catch to get two for one here. The colors and the details are spot on.
