Yellow Warbler

We had clouds most of the day today which kept the light soft but pretty dim.  I decided to try a little fill flash and I think this one was just a bit overdone for my taste, though the same setting worked well on duller birds.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, tripod with ball head and Sidekick, f/8, 1/800, iso 2000, aperture priority pattern metering, - 1 EV exposure compensation and fill flash at -1.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to 14.3 MP.  Taken at 9:18 this morning under cloudy skies (though thinner than they had been earlier).
